My Neosovs charged out across the battlefield, making the best use possible of the available cover. Andy's Pharon massacred them badly. Nuff said... Except for the fact that the only really good Chemgrunt chain-reaction came as a result of a 'stray' shot from my own officer... ...chuckle... Lesson number 1 : Make sure there' lots more 'tall' terrain on the battlefield. Lesson number 2 : Nine Chemgrunts might be too many... Hey! What if I don't like lesson number 2 ??!!!? ok... mebbe I'll ignore lesson number 2... Anyway, here's the results, as Andy posted elsewhere. 23/10/01 Army Player Result Campaign Points Resources Pharon Andrew P Victory +5 +1 Neo-Soviet Gavin Defeat +1 -1 Named Models: ____ (Fist of Anubis) Hey! Aren't you supposed to actually give the model a name when you 'name' him? Just a thought... Gav Energy weapon shooting up laser. Sprinkle on surface.

Actually, I'm working on it. Should have a name by tonight. I should also have a Campaighn roster sheet like the ones in RF's E. for the Pharon (and the Shard too, if I can be bothered). You figure that's gotta be jelly, because jam just don't shake like that.

Well my Angstromm's Avengers were beaten by F's Shard in a campaign game a few months ago, which was posted here. And GavBot's Neo-Sovs beat my Lost Legion (a marginal victory, IIRC- I kept notes I think). It wasn't a campaign game as such, but it was posted to the forum too. I'll move the Avengers/Shard thread here. I'll leave any others just now because they all predate the earlier VOR campaign posts; so I reckon we'd need a consensus before counting in the earlier games. Do we only accept games played since the campaigning began; or do we let players include earlier results- providing that is that they are either recorded, or that both players involved concur? Personally, I am in favour of the former- it's simpler, and probably fairer too. What's the consensus on this then gents? "Remember each leaf and every blade of grass. It's just an excuse to use the Named Model rules. If you have a record of the game, go ahead and apply the result. I don't care. You figure that's gotta be jelly, because jam just don't shake like that.
