First off is concerning the roleplaying room, From now on, every third week in the month the room is going to be booked for a club event. That club event is the RPGA stuff that Martin Sweeney and the other members of the RPGA are going to be running.
The club event is now the ONLY thing that can be block booked. From now on, if you want to book the room, you can only do it for the following week, this has come about due to the increase in roleplaying at the club and in order to give everyone a shot at some privacy these measures have been taken.
What does this mean? well, it means that even if you have a different GM but its still the same epeople inside then you cant have the room two weeks in a row. If you come to the club and no one has their name down on the natty little year planner I added last week then fine, you can use the room, but, if you had the room last week and somebody shows up wanting to use it then you have to give it up, and find a quiet corner of the main hall.
So the first Club event which will be next month, as this Tuesday will be the third of the month. Somebody has their name down (incidently the same group that was in last week) and Andy B has the room booked for the following week. After that, whoever gets their name down first has the room for the following week after Andy B, but that's all they can book. The week after that booking somebody can put their name down for the following week.
To that end, I'm going to need a list of who's running games and who playing in them.
The second thing was, once again to let you all know that Wizkids, through their representatives at the club, have given us a load of demo stuff to play. The first of which is a Heroclix tourney a week this Tuesday 29th. It does cost £15 to enter but I understand that there's three of the new boosters for every entrant and prizes to be won.
They have demo kits for Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, Mechwarrior Dark ages, and Mage knight. So if you play any of these let me know and I will in turn let Graham or Maritn know what to bring.
This has been a public sevice announcement on behalf of the G3 Games Co-ordinating party.
Cheers,
